Our Ultrapremium^TM technology minimizes the size and likelihood of inclusions in the steel, resulting in higher loading and/or longer life in these critical components.

Marine Crankshafts

Metallus is a significant provider of steel that goes into medium-speed marine engine crankshafts used for marine propulsion. In these applications, high fatigue strength and wear resistance are critical to ensure long service life.
