We offer full lifecycle support for every customer product.

Whether a customer is designing a custom application for a specific market or requesting multiple thermal treatment options for a product, our customer service team supports that order through its full lifecycle. Many projects span five years or more from design to delivery, and our team members manage the steps along the way, ensuring the project is completed and customers can remain focused on their priorities.

Our program management capabilities include careful, clear documentation about order status and estimated delivery information; communication about project status; and coordination between Metallus sites and third-party services, as needed.

Although program management is embedded in the services we provide customers who order our products, we also provide comprehensive support for:

  1. New product launches: To ensure a flawless launch, we can use our in-house research and development equipment to model the processing and determine the likelihood of success. We partner with our customers to develop the most cost-effective solution that meets the requirements before even melting the steel.
  2. Complex deliverables: Sometimes the customer’s deliverable involves more than just the steel we sell. Projects often require critical certifications, extensive testing requirements, and/or coordination with third-party services. In these instances, our customer service team ensures that every detail is planned and accounted for, so our customers receive a product that is verified to meet requirements. Our focus on program management also enables our customers to allocate their own resources to activities with the highest value.
